Ótal
Óskar Þór Arngrímsson is an Icelandic musician, sound artist, and composer. For his music he uses the name Ótal, which is an Icelandic word meaning a large unknown number, an innumerable amount, a myriad. It also means something that is unspoken or incapable of being described by language. In his work Óskar seeks to uncover these themes of searching for the 'other;' finding importance in what has been cast aside by society.
Óskar primarily writes electronic music using his modular synthesizer, and collaborates with a wide range of artists and musicians on music and video projects.
